you left your raincoat on my coat hanger
(the one that's a piece of plastic nailed to the doorway)
and i'd thought i'd tell you that it's still there
collecting dust and after-images
and that the fragrance of your perfume has
long worn off but if i close my eyes tight enough
i can still see the lights that echo around like stardust
